The main objectives of the works are to bring the flood protection level of Yuen Long Town Centre to the required standard. It also provides the opportunity to revitalize the existing Yuen Long Nullah. The contract mainly comprises the provision of a barrage scheme in Yuen Long including the construction of an automatic flood barrier of about 60m, a stormwater pumping station, a master control centre and the associated electrical and mechanical facilities in the Yuen Long Nullah, about 200m drainage channels, about 4km flood walls, revitalization of a section of about 1km of the Yuen Long Nullah, and carrying out ancillary works.

The main objectives of the works are to provide essential infrastructure to serve the continued developments at the former runway and south apron of Kai Tak Development Area and to improve the overall road network in Kai Tak Development. The contract mainly comprises construction of Road D3 (Metro Park Section) including bridge, underpass and footpaths; salt water pumping station; sewage pumping station; open space and promenade.

This role involved supervision of design and construction of 1 kilometer long cut-and-cover tunnels founding on pre-bored H-piles and minipiles, and tunnel construction by mined method. The tunnels comprise 3-lanes eastbound carriageway heading to HKBCF and 4-lanes westbound carriageway heading to the HZMB Main Bridge. Also responsible for claims assessment, preparation of VO, VVO and RFA.
